Dear FutureMe,
I’m writing this on 2 January 2008. I am currently designing a new layout for my website jamiesoon.com. I have also written two articles ‘choosing the right colour’ and ‘where to get clients’.
2007 has been a good year for me. I travelled around south east asia, Bangkok, Lombok / Bali, and Cambodia. Finally went to see Angkor wat. Also managed to save RM .. in FD. Have decided not to work with CellSafe due to very long time have to wait for payment. At the moment I have RM… in the bank.
Self improvement include learning a new way to design websites using css and div. Also learnt how to install cutenews. I have also started exercising on a regular basis.
In 2008 I resolve to do more travelling and find new ways to generate more income and contribute to the world by writing more articles. I hope to continue my fitness program and run a marathon this year. I would like to design more websites ‘mass’ at least 4 new websites a month.

So … 2008 I ran the mizuno 10km …’check’ …. write more articles .. now only 9 articles.. but nevermind, not many people read them… but I started to blog regularly….. as for the ‘mass production of websites 4 websites per month’ … no.. cannot… maybe this year will start …. ‘travel more’ this year also will travel more lah…
I have new pricing for this year. Now I calculate the extra features seperately. Its just like Air Asia. You pay extra for extra luggage, pay extra for food or priority bording…. and in the AirAsia hotels I also heard they charge for the shampoo and aircon….
So last time I include everything, value for money… but in some ways not too good also because I quote high but the customer don’t know I provide all this service all included…so they think too expensive …. and some client the price is ok, and they keep requesting for more features to add in … until few months also haven’t finish….
Now estimate is RM80 per hour … or roughly RM400 per day… more accurate way of counting and is like installment… some people laugh at RM80 per hour.. but actually 1 hour can do alot… we all expert can do very fast one (and also I didn’t count in the time I have to talk with the customer so actually taking more than one hour) ….. anyway will see how this new method works out… the purpose is to control the client and let them focus on what is important so they don’t occupy too much of our time… since they have to pay extra so they will think carefully whether they need it or not … so, less work for me.. haha… the restaurants also do it.. they purposely make the chairs not too comfortable so that you don’t sit too long and prevent other customers from coming in….

Last night went to attend Mr Chang’s son’s wedding dinner (The uncle and aunty from sikkim). Kelly invited me to replace her husband who couldn’t make it. Anyway, great to see some familiar faces. Mrs Chang was there, also Mr and Mrs Chin. We sat at the table until midnight, drinking wine, and Mr Chang telling stories… etc… nice food and they even have live music band playing violins etc…
Mr Chin is planning a trip… the Anapurna Circuit, around November next year (or this year lah.. 2009)
29 days…. whew…. yeah I’m going !!!
When Kelly fetch me home around 1.20am … the Curve still very jam…. terrible….. my mum says this year the New Year activities at The Curve not so nice …. usually Ikea/Ikano and The Curve take turns to organize… but this year it was organized by the Curve…. the street was empty, fireworks like ‘oi sei oi sei) etc… so she says she went to one utama….
