Arrive in Penang. Stop at Saw Hoon's house.
Trekking cancelled today because raining.

We have Nonya food lunch and later check in to Hotel 1926.
Raining heavily on Saturday, until flood. We spent the afternoon in Gurney Plaza shopping mall.

Next morning, we visit Penang botanical gardens.

National Park office in Teluk Bahang. We started trekking around 10.30am

First trail suppose to walk for about 2-3 hrs to Muka Head, trekking along the beach ...

Stop for a break. Ate some food that we bought from Pulau Tikus market.
Suddenly a few monkeys came to steal food......

Took a boat back to the national park entrance.

Start treking to Pantai Kerachut.

Where's the lake ? This Meromictic lake is special because the layars of dense saltwater and freshwater from the river do not mix.

Walk to the turtle hachery where we can see some exhibits. The ranger also took out two baby turtles for us to have a look.

This is where we were suppose to camp yesterday.

After trekking, go makan Penang food in Northam Beach Cafe...

Next morning, Monday ... had 'brunch' at a hawker stall. Ate some curry mee and Apom ...

On the way back to KL, stop at Sungai Klah Hot Springs Park (Sungkai)
Its a fasting month and a weekday, so not many people. Nice place.

Soaking feet in hot water ! A group of Singaporean students just arrive...

After hot springs, stop to have some coconut water and buy petai.
Later on in the evening, had dinner somewhere in Rawang.
