Gunung Jasar - Perdah, Cameron Highlands

Sunday 25 July 2010 - Easy and scenic trek in cameron highlands... can wear slippers and bring non trekkers/beginner trekkers/ tourist ...... half day trek.. can reach Jasar peak in 1 hour ++..... can finish by 2pm if you don't get lost..........

Waterfall on the way up to cameron highlands

Ok.. so when you are on the way to Tanah Rata
you can see a sign on your left saying Oly Apartments..
turn in and there is a Tan's Camelia Garden

Park here and get ready

These fellas came in 2 vans... 20+ people

Check out the flowers in the garden...

Is that a lemon.....

That abnomal growth on the anthurium flower is actually the fruit.....

Walk inside the garden and the starting point of the trail is there...

Start trekking ... easy lah no problem

See..1.72 KM only.. you can walk up the peak in 1 hour if you don't stop too much to take photo ...

There is a junction here, so we go straight and go up the hill

Oh wow, a map... we are going up Gunung Jasar first......

Start to see some mossy forest.... like Gunung Irau ...

Wow... no need to suffer in Irau... trek here also can see mossy forest already...

Ok.. almost reach the peak, I think got erosion here, use another way up
... turn right...

Opps... camera no more batery... at the top you will see this thing... then trek up there can see some view... trek abit more the Jasar peak is just up there.....

These berries can be eaten..........
