Back to Siem Reap town and its time for dinner.
Some nice restaurants to cater for western tourists.

Lots of restaurants selling western food and local khmer food.

Stop at second hand book store

Amok ... local Khmer food. Something like otak otak with rice.
Chicken, beef and fish with lots of onions...and coconut milk..

Next day early morning get up at 5 am to catch the 'sunrise'

Boat ride on Tonle Sap lake ... Journey to Phnom Penh took about 5
hours

Arrive in Phnom Penh

Lunch at nice restaurant... we ate here about 3 times..

Next day we go to Choeung Ek Genocidal Center

One of the mass grave sites.. spooky ..
1975-1979 - about 20,000 people were executed and murdered.

Skulls of the millions of people who where killed under the Pol Pot
regime.

Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.
A school that was converted into a prison by the Pol Pot

A room where prisoners were tortured during the Pol Pot regime.
You can still see bloodstains on the floor.
