Wah, today very stressful. Choose number for the car. About 9.30am went with mum and 2 sales guys from Naza, went to the Bandar Tasik Selatan (Sg. Besi) JPJ office to register the number.

Today start number 8. Lots of 88. Mum wants to get a number with a meaning. Chinese meaning. At first got a number with 58. Is it sounds like fai fatt (fast lucky) or mmmm fatt (no lucky). So better not use 58. Anyway looks like nobody taking those numbers with 58. So many numbers looking at the small flat screen. I actually had to take the queue number a few times because everytime come to our turn we haven’t made up our minds yet. In the end refer to a printed list better. Maybe 8000 not much choice, how about go back to 7000, or skip to 9000 ? Sales guy says one day can finish 1000 numbers. The 2 sales guy sitting waiting for us to make up our minds. Normally the malays will just pick a number that is meaningful to them e.g. birthday. But chinese want a number with lucky meaning, or at least a not a bad number, like something that ends with 4(die). But if you say 4 in malay, its lompat lompat.

Look look look think think think……. haih yah simply choose one lah… 8078 ? Mum said 78 is not a nice word.. I donno I donno cantonese……..ask the lady to check a few numbers in the system, some already taken up…… In the end choose back my old carplate number 8962, oh not available, ok 8961 available. Ok. I guess anything without a 4 or 5 or 7 in it is safe. If you read it jumbled up its 1689 … one road luck more than enough ……….

Taiping Durian
This weekend will go Taiping again, durian makan trip with Chia, SK, SK sister, Chia cousin, me and Hl. Still got a whole bunch of people coming from Penang.
